    Fight against terrorism, importance of education for national security and cybersecurity were among topics of the discussions.

    The Polish delegation, headed by deputy Chairman Jarosław Obremski, with Senator Piotr Wach and senior Secretary of the Committee Agata Mianowska visited Bucharest on 26-28 November, 2018.

     

    After panel discussions on issues important for national security, representatives of Poland, Romania and Turkey met with Mr. Ben-Oni Ardelean, Vice-chairman of the Committee for Foreign Affairs of the Chamber of Deputies of Romania and other members of the Committee. Next, H.E. Doina Elena Federovici, Vice President of the Senate of Romania, offered an official luncheon for all the members of the Polish, Romanian and Turkish Foreign Affairs Committees delegations attending the Trilateral meeting. Later that day H.E. Cristian Dumitrescu, President of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Senate of Romania, hosted an official dinner for all the three delegations.  

     

    During they stay in Bucharest the Turkish, Romanian and Polish Foreign Affairs Committees delegations attending the Trilateral were received by H.E. Teodor Meleşcanu, Foreign Affairs Minister of Romania.

     

    The Turkish and Romanian parliamentarians accepted the offer made by the Polish delegation to host the 5th meeting of this format of trilateral consultations in Warsaw, in Spring 2019.
