    84). 6-9 VIII 1970
    Deputy minister of Romanian Foreign Affaires N. ECOBESCU paid an official visit to Poland. On 8th of August vice ministers of Polish and Romanian Foreign Affaires Zygfryd WOLNIAK and N. ECOBESCU agreed upon a text of a new Treaty between PRL and SRR on friendship, co-operation and mutual assistance.

    85). 10-13 XI 1970
    On invitation of KC RPK and SRR Ministers' Council a state and party delegation of PRL paid a visit to Romania. Władysław GOMUŁKA and Józef CYRANKIEWICZ were chiefs of delegation. A new Treaty between PRL and SRR on friendship, co-operation and mutual assistance was signed. A report about the visit was published.

    86). 24-28 V 1971
    A delegation of Polish Army with the Minister of Defence, gen. Wojciech JARUZELSKI as a head of it, paid a visit to Romania. KC RPK General Secretary and the President of SRR State Council, Nicolae Ceausescu in presence of Prime Minister Ion Gheorghe MAURER, received the delegation.

    87). 31 V - 3 VI 1971
    Vice minister of Foreign Affaires, Stanisław TREPCZYŃSKI paid a visit to Romania. He had talks with Vice Minister of Foreign Affaires, N. ECOBESCU.

    88). 6-9 VII 1971
    On invitation of the PRL Minister of Foreign Affaires, Stefan JĘDRYCHOWSKI, Corneliu MANESCU Romanian Minister of Foreign Affaires paid an official visit to Poland. He had talks with the Minister, S. JĘDRYCHOWSKI and was received by the President of State Council Józef CYRANKIEWICZ and Prime Minister Piotr JAROSZEWICZ. A report about the visit was published.

    Vice Minister of Foreign Affaires, Nicolae ECOBESCU paid a visit to Poland. He carried talks with Vice Minister of Foreign Affaires, Stanisław TREPCZYŃSKI.

    90). 10-11 VII 1972
    The Minister of Foreign Affaires, Stefan OLSZOWSKI paid a visit to Bucharest. He carried talks with the Romanian Minister of Foreign Affaires Corneliu MANESCU and was received by General Secretary of KC RKP and the President of the State Council, Nicolae Ceausescu.  A report about the visit was published. 

    91). 16-21 XI 1972
    An official delegation of Polish Sejm, with Deputy Speaker Andrzej BENESZ and the President of Deputy Chamber Commission of Foreign Affaires, Wincenty KRASKA paid a visit to Romania. RPK General Secretary and the President of the State Council of SRR, Nicolae Ceausescu, received the delegation. 

    92). 1-2 XII 1972
    In Bucharest take place talks between Vice Prime Ministers of PRL, Józef TEJCHMA and SRR Janos FEZEKAS. They agreed upon current and future issues regarding co-operation between both countries. J. TEJCHMA was received by RPK General Secretary and the President of the State Council, Nicolae Ceausescu.    

    93). 3-5 IV 1973
    Vice Prime Minister, Mieczysław JAGIELSKI paid a visit to Bucharest. He carried talks with the Vice President of the State Council Manea MANESCU on programme and schedule of works regarding co-ordination of plans for social and economic development for both countries after the year 1975.

    94). 9-14 IV 1973
    The Minister of science, higher education and technical science, Jan KACZMAREK paid a visit to Romania. The protocol on co-operation in the field of science and technique was signed, as well as an agreement on co-operation between Polish and Romanian universities. On Romanian behalf the document was signed by - Vice Prime Minister Paul NICULESCU and the President of National Council for Science and Technique, professor Ioan URSU.

    95). 17-19 IV 1973
    Vice Minister of Foreign Affaires, Stanisław TREPCZYŃSKI paid a visit to Bucharest. He carried talks with Romanian Vice Minister of Foreign Affaires, N. ECOBESCU.

    96). 12-19 XII 1973
    A delegation of the Great Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Romania with Deputy President Ilie MURGULESCU, as a head of delegation, paid a visit to Poland. The President of the State Council Henryk JABŁOŃSKI, Vice Prime Minister Józef TEJCHMA and the Sejm Speaker Stanisław GUCWA received the delegation.           

    97). 19-22 XII 1973
    Romanian Minister of Foreign Affaires, George MACOVESCU paid a visit to Poland. He carried talks with the Minister of Foreign Affaires, Stefan OLSZOWSKI and was received by I Secretary of KC PZPR Edward GIEREK and the President of State Council Henryk JABŁOŃSKI. The report was published.

    98). 25-26 VII 1974
    On invitation of the SRR Prime Minister, Piotr JAROSZEWICZ PRL Prime Minister paid a visit to Romania.         The General Secretary of RPK and the President of SRR Nicolae CEAUSESCU, received him. The talks were carried, in which participated: on behalf of Polish side - Prime Minister of PRL, P. JAROSZEWICZ, first Deputy President of the Governmental Planning Commission, Tadeusz PYKA, Minister of Chemical Industry Jerzy OLSZEWSKI, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affaires Stanisław TREPCZYŃSKI, Deputy Minister of Heavy Industry Edward MEISNER, Deputy Minister, government's spokesperson Włodzimierz Jan JUREK, Polish ambassador in SRR, Władysław WOJTASIK; on behalf of Romanian side - Prime Minister of SRR, Manea MANESCU, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Internal Commerce Janos FAZEKAS, Minister of Industry of Heavy Machinery Construction Ion AVRAM, Minister of Chemical Industry Mihail FLORESCU, Minister of Industry and Electrical Machinery Virgil ACTARIAN, General Secretary in the Ministerial Council, Ion St. ION, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affaires Cornel PACOSTE, Romanian Ambassador in PRL, Aurel DUCA, Vice President of the Planning Commission Ion BUCUR, Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade and International Commercial Co-operation, Ion FLORESCU and experts of both of sides.     99). 21-23 VIII 1974
    A PRL delegation paid a visit to Romania on the occasion of 30 years freedom anniversary. Members of Polish delegation were as follows: the president of delegation - member of KC PZPR Political Bureau, Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Culture Józef TEJCHMA, I Secretary of WKW (Military Committee of Liberation) PZPR Kazimierz ROKOSZEWSKI and others.

    100). 26-31 VIII 1974
    CRZZ delegation paid a visit to Romania with the president of the Council, member of KC PZPR Political Bureau, Władysław KRUCZEK, as a head of delegation. The delegation was received by the RPK General Secretary and the President of SRR Nicolae CEAUSECSU and carried talks with a delegation of Romanian Trade Unionists at the head of which was the President of Central Council of the Romanian General Assembly of Trade Union Mihail DALEA.

    101). 27-29 X 1974
    On invitation of the Minister of Heavy Machinery Industry, Tadeusz WRZASZCZYK, the Romanian Minister of the Industry of Heavy Machinery Construction, Ioan AVRAM paid a visit to Poland. He was received by the Prime Minister Piotr JAROSZEWICZ, and carried talks with the Minister T. WRZASZCZYK.

    XI Congress of the Romanian Communist Party debated in Bucharest. Members of Polish delegation: member of KC PZPR Political Bureau, Jan SZYDLAK, as a president of delegation, KC member, Deputy President of the CK Communist Party Stanisław PAWLAK, KC member, I Secretary of KW in Opole, Andrzej ZABIŃSKI and Polish ambassador in SRR, Władysław WOJTASIK.  

    103). 20-24 I 1975
    X Session of Polish - Romanian Governmental Commission of Economic Co-operation had place in Bucharest. Deputy Prime Ministers Józef TEJCHMA and Janos FAZEKAS acted as presidents of delegations and signed the final protocol. J. TEJCHMA was received by the Prime Minister of SRR Manea MANESCU.

    104). 5-7 III 1975
    The Minister of Foreign Trade and Maritime Economy Jerzy OLSZEWSKI paid a visit to Bucharest. He was received by the Prime Minister of SRR Manea MANESCU and also carried talks with Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister of Foreign Trade and International economic co-operation Ion PATAN, Minister of Transport and Telecommunication Traian DUDAS and Minister of Chemical Industry Mihail FLOESCU. J. OLSZEWSKI and I. PATAN signed the protocol on goods and payment exchange in 1975.

    105). 4-7 VI 1975
    Romanian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Constantin OANCEA paid a visit to Warsaw. He carried talks with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affaires Stanisław TREPCZYŃSKI.

    106). 22-23 IX 1975
    Polish - Romanian talks on economic issues were carried in Warsaw, they summarized the results of works over co-ordination of social and economic development plans for both countries between years 1976-1980. Deputy Prime Ministers Mieczysław JAGIELSKI and Mihail MARINESCU acted as presidents of delegations.

    VII Session of PZPR debated in Warsaw. A delegation of Romanian Communist Party took part in a debate, Cornel BURTICA, member of Political Bureau of the Executive Committee, KC secretary acted as a president of a delegation.

    On invitation of PRL Prime Minister Piotr JAROSZEWICZ, SR Prime Minister Manea MANESCU paid an official visit to Poland. The President of State Council Henryk JABŁOŃSKI received him and KC PZPR I Secretary Edward GIEREK. Prime ministers P. JAROSZEWICZ and M. The following documents were signed: agreement on co-operation in the field of crane production, agreement on specialization in machinery and utilities for food industry, agreement on specialization in tires and rubber, technical products production; agreement on co-operation in the field of science and technique for years 1976-1980, a protocol that includes resolutions regarding development of economic, science and technical co-operation and production specialization, and also cultural and tourist co-operation between both countries. A common Polish-Romanian report was published.

    A delegation of Romanian General Trade Unions paid a visit to Poland, with the Union President, KC RPK Executive Committee member Gheorghe PANA, as a head of delegation. G. PANA was received by KC PZPR I Secretary, Edward GIEREK.

    110). 2-4 IX 1976
    KC PZPR secretary, Ryszard FRELEK paid a visit to Romania. He carried talks with a Deputy Member of the Political Executive Committee, KC RPK member, Stefan ANDREI on further development of a relationship between PZPR and RPK, and between Poland and Romania.  

    111). 27-30 IX 1976
    XI session of Polish-Romanian Mixt Commission for Economic Co-operation took place in Warsaw. Deputy Prime Ministers Kazimierz OLSZEWSKI and Janos FAZEKAS acted as presidents of delegations and signed a common protocol. J. FAZEKAS was received by KC PZPR I Secretary, Edward GIEREK.      

    112). 7-10 X 1976
    On invitation of the RPK General Secretary, Nicolae CEAUSESCU, I Secretary of KC PZPR Edward GIEREK paid a friendly visit to Romania. He was accompanied by: KC Secretary - Ryszard FRELEK, KC member, Chief of the KC Secretariat Chancellery - Jerzy WASZCZUK, Polish Ambassador to Romania, Władysław WOJTASIK. Talks between leaders took place. Deputy member of the Political Executive Committee, KC secretary Stefan ANDREI, accompanied the RPK General Secretary. At the end of a visit, common statement was published.             

    113). 25-26 XI 1976
    Advisory Political Committee of State Members of the Warsaw Pact debated in Bucharest. Delegations were conducted by first (general) party secretaries and Prime Ministers from the member states. The declaration was signed and a project of an agreement for states-signatories of the CSCE Final Act. A committee of foreign ministers and the united secretariat was set up.

    114). 4-5 XII 1976
    I Deputy Minister of Culture and Arts of PRL, Mieczysław WOJTCZAK and Deputy President of Culture and Socialist Education Council, Dumitru GHISE signed in Bucharest an agreement on co-operation between Polish and Romanian cinematography for years 1977-1978. On this occasion, Deputy member of KC RPK Political Executive Committee, President of Culture and Socialist Education Council, Miu DOBRESCU received M. WOJTCZAK. Problems regarding co-operation between cultural circles from both countries were discussed.

    115). 7-9 XII 1976
    Romanian Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Agriculture, Food Industry and Water Economy Angelo MICULESCU paid a visit to Poland. He was received by Prime Minister Piotr JAROSZEWICZ and carried talks with the ministers of: agriculture - Kazimierz BARCIKOWSKI, food industry and purchasing - Emil KOŁODZIEJSKI. An agreement on extending Polish-Romanian economic, scientific and technique co-operation in the field of agriculture and food industry was signed.

    116). 27-29 I 1977
    On invitation of SRR Prime Minister Manea MANESCU, PRL Prime Minister Piotr JAROSZEWICZ paid an official visit to Romania. He was accompanied by: Deputy Prime Minister, Co-president of Polish-Romanian Governmental Commission on Economic Co-operation, Kazimierz OLSZEWSKI, other ministers and a group of advisors and experts. RPK General Secretary and SRR President, Nicolae CEAUSESCU received P. JAROSZEWICZ. The talks, conducted by Prime Ministers of both countries, were carried. Results of the talks were included in a common protocol. Deputy Prime Ministers, K. OLSZEWSKI and J. FAZEKAS signed the programme of activities in the field of co-operation and specialization of production. The common statement was published.

    117). 23 - 28 II 1977
    PRL Sejm delegation paid a visit to Romania, with Stanisław KANIA - member of Political Bureau, KC PZPR secretary and a deputy, as a head of delegation. The member of Political Executive Committee, KC RPK Secretary Ilie VERDET and Prime Minister Manea MANESCU received members of delegation. They carried talks with the President of the Great National Assembly of SRR, Nicolae GIOSAN and with Romanian deputies. Polish deputies also had a meeting with a member of KC RPK Political Executive Committee, the President of Bucharest, Ion DINCA.

    118). 24 II 1977
    An agreement on scientific co-operation for years 1976-1980, among Polish Academy of Science and the Romanian one, and the Academy of Social and Political Sciences was signed in Bucharest.

    On invitation of the SRR Minister of Foreign Affaires, George MACOVESCU, an official visit to Romania paid the PRL Minister of Foreign Affaires, Emil WOJTASZEK. RPK General Secretary, President of Romania Nicolae CEAUSESCU, received him. A common statement was published.

    On invitation of the PZPR Central Committee and PRL Ministries' Council, SRR state and party delegation conducted by General Secretary of Romanian Communist Party and SRR President - Nicolae Ceausescu, paid an official visit to Poland.     A Romanian delegation of radio and TV commission paid a visit to Poland, with Deputy General Director, Gheorghe ATANASIU. A working protocol on co-operation in the field of radio and TV for years 1977-1978 was signed.

    On invitation of KC RPK, a delegation of KC PZPR paid a visit to Romania. Czesław BANACH, Deputy Chief of Science and Education Department of KC PZPR acted as a president of delegation. Member of KC RPK Political Executive Committee, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Education - Paul NICULESCU, received the delegation.

    A delegation of the Ideological and Educational Labour Department of KC PZPR paid a visit to Romania. Antoni JUNIEWICZ, Deputy chief, acted as a president of delegation. Cornel BURTICA, member of Political Executive Committee, KC RPK Secretary, received the delegation.

    125). 12-16 IX 1977
    Deputy President of the State Planning Commission of SRR, Nicolae IONESCU paid a visit to Poland, because of consultations regarding co-ordination of national economic plans for PRL and SRR for years 1981-1985. Deputy member of the KC PZPR Political Bureau, Deputy Prime Minister, President of the Governmental Planning Commission, Tadeusz WRZASZCZYK, received him.              

    126). 3-8 X 1977
    Deputy member of KC RPK Executive Committee, president of SRR Council of Culture and Education, Miu DOBRESCU paid a visit to Poland. The talks took place in the Ministry of Culture and Arts, in which participated KC PZPR member, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Culture and Arts Józef TEJCHMA. M. DOBRESCU met with a Deputy member of the Political Bureau, KC PZPR Secretary, Jerzy ŁUKASZEWICZ.         

    127). 10-14 X 1977
    The Romanian Minister of Chemical Industry, Mihail FLORESCU paid a visit to Poland. The Prime Minister Piotr JAROSZEWICZ received him. Problems regarding economic, scientific and technical development between Poland, and Romania in the field of chemical industry were discussed, and also some issues regarding specialization of production.

    128). 27-29 X 1977
    Polish Minister of Machinery Industry, Aleksander KOPEĆ who was in Romania on the occasion of opening the exhibition „Days of Polish economy and technology" on 29th of October was received by the Romanian Prime Minister, Manea MANESCU and Deputy Prime Ministers, Gheorghe OPREA and Janos FAZEKAS. The talks were focused on issues regarding further Polish-Romanian economic co-operation. Minister A. KOPEĆ also had a meeting with the Romanian Minister of Machinery Building, Ioan AVRAM.          

    129). 27-29 X 1977
    On invitation of KC PZPR, Corneliu BURTICA, member of an Executive Committee, Secretary of KC RPK paid a visit to Poland. He was received by I Secretary of KC PZPR, Edward GIEREK, and carried talks with Deputy member of Political Bureau, KC PZPR Secretary, Jerzy ŁUKASZEWICZ. In talks also took part, chiefs of KC PZPR departments: Ideological and Educational Labour - Wiesław KLIMCZAK, Radio and TV - Kazimierz ROKOSZEWSKI. An agreement on ideological co-operation between KC PZPR and KC RPK was signed.
