  • The sixties:

    35). 26 V - 4 VI 1960
    A delegation of agricultural activists with the minister of Agriculture, Mieczysław JAGIELSKI as a head of it, was in Romania. Members of delegation were acquainted with agriculture achievements.

    36). 19-24 VI 1960
    III Congress of RPR (Romanian Workers' Party) take place. A delegation of PZPR (Polish United Workers' Party) arrived, with its members as follows: member of Political Bureau, secretary of the Central Committee  (KC) of PZPR, Edward OCHAB, Zenon KLISZKO and a deputy member of KC PZPR - I Secretary in Bydgoszcz, Marian MIŚKIEWICZ and Chief of the Foreign Department of KC PZPR Józef CZESAK. I Secretary arrived at the congress on 23rd of June, just after closing a debate of the Fifth plenary session of KC PZPR.

    37). 24 VI 1960
    During the IIIrd Congress of Romanian Workers' Party, a meeting of representatives of the communist and workers parties from socialist countries take place in Bucharest. Opinions on current problems regarding international issues were exchanged and some conclusions valid for fraternal parties had been drawn during the discussion. As a result of works, a report was published.

    38). 14 XI 1960
    An agreement on co-operation between Poland and Romania regarding peaceful utilization of nuclear energy was signed in Bucharest. At the same time, both parties agreed on work plan for years 1960-1961. On behalf of Poland, the talks were leaded be state delegation of experts, with Wilhelm BILLING as a head of it.

    39). 9 III 1961           
    The protocol on mutual supplies of goods and payments for year 1961 was signed in Warsaw.

    40). 24-28 IV 1961
    On invitation of KC PZPR and a government of Polish People's Republic (PRL), a Romanian party-state delegation with I Secretary of KC of Romanian Workers' Party and the President of State Council of the Romanian People's Republic (RRL), Gh. GHEORGIU-DEJ as a head of it, paid a visit to Poland. Talks between representatives of PZPR and the government of PRL on one side, and delegation of RRL on the other, take place. Mutual, Polish-Romanian statement was signed.

    41). 1 XII 1961
    On invitation of KC RPR, a KC PZPR delegation came to Bucharest, with KC PZPR Secretary, Witold JAROSIŃSKI as a head of it.

    42). 5 III 1962           
    A plan on cultural and scientific co-operation for years 1962-1963, between PRL and RRL was signed.

    43). 5 X 1962
    A consular convention between Romania and Poland was signed in Bucharest. The convention governs all the important issues in consular relationship between two countries.

    44). 10-20 X 1962
    On invitation of KC PZPR, a RPR delegation with deputy member of RPR Political Bureau and Chief of Propaganda and Culture Department of KC RPR, Leonte RAUTA - as a head of it - paid a visit to Poland.

    45). 5 XI 1962
    An agreement on Polish-Romanian co-operation in the field of construction and architecture was signed in Bucharest. The agreement stipulated experts' exchange and co-operation between scientific institutions.

    46). 8-12 II 1963
    In Warsaw take place four-day conference between delegations of Planning Commission of the Ministers' Council and PRL State Planning Committee - on issues regarding economic co-operation /until the year 1980/ between both countries. The basic directions of co-operation and specialization of production between PRL and RRL were established, in accordance with principles of international, socialist division of labour.

    47). 18 II 1963
    The protocol on trade exchange for year 1963 between PRL and RRL is signed in Warsaw.

    48). 23 IX - 2 X 1963
    On invitation of PRL Sejm (Parliament) a delegation of Great National Council of RRL is paying a visit to Poland. The vice-president of Romanian Parliament, KC RPR member Anton MOISESCU was a head of a delegation.

    49). 13 XII 1963
    The protocol on trade exchange for year 1964 between PRL and RRL is signed in Bucharest.

    50). 21-23 VIII 1964
    In celebrations of 20 years-anniversary of Romania's liberation day, members from thirteen socialist countries took part. Vice Prime-minister, Franciszek WANIOŁKA member of Political Bureau was a chief of Polish delegation.

    51). 5 XI 1964
    An agreement on co-operation of economic plans development for both countries, for years 1966-1970 was signed in Bucharest.

    52). 22-23 II 1965
    The IV th session of Polish - Romanian Commission of Economic Co-operation debated in Bucharest. The protocol was signed: on behalf of Poland - deputy Prime Minister Zenon NOWAK, on behalf of Romania - Alexandru BIRLADEANU.

    53). 19-24 VII 1965
    In Bucharest took place IX Congress of Romanian Workers' Party. At the begging of a debate the resolution on name restoration: from Workers' to Communist Party was undertaken. Members of Polish PZPR delegation were as follows: member of KC PZPR Political Bureau Zenon KLISZKO, KC member Jan SZYDLAK and KC deputy member Antoni RADLIŃSKI. KC PZPR delegation, which took part in IX Congress of RKP, came back to Warsaw on 25th of July.

    54). 19-26 XI 1965
    A Sejm delegation with Deputy Speaker Jan K. WENDE, as a head of it, arrived to Socialist Republic of Romania (SRR). The delegation paid a visit to Vice-president of SRR State Council, Chivu STICA and to President of the Great National Assembly, Ştefan VOITECOW.

    55). 10 I 1966
    In the Ministry of Culture and Art, in Warsaw take place signing the new Plan on cultural and science co-operation for years 1966-1967 between Poland and Romania.

    56). 4-6 VII 1966
    In Bucharest take place a council of an Advisory Political Committee of the Warsaw Pact State-Members. Leaders of communist and workers parties and chiefs of states belonging to the Council for Mutual Economic Assistance, signed in Bucharest on the 5th of July a declaration on strengthening the peace and security in Europe. On 6th of July at the end of council's session, a report on USA aggression in Vietnam was published.

    57). 23-26 IX 1966
    A debate of the Vth session of the Polish-Romanian Governmental Commission of Economic Co-operation took place in Warsaw. At the end of the debate, Deputy Prime Ministers Zenon NOWAK and Gheorghe RADULESCU signed a protocol regulating further extension of economic co-operation between Poland and Romania.

    58). 8-10 II 1967
    In Warsaw took place a council of the ministers of foreign affaires of the Warsaw Pact state-members. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affaires M. MALITA represented Romania. On 9th of February council participants' were received by KC PZPR I secretary, Władysław GOMUŁKA. In that meeting also took part members of Political Bureau - Prime Minister Józef CYRANKIEWICZ and KC PZPR secretary, Zenon KLISZKO.

    59). 9 IV 1967 
    The talks on co-operation in the field of machinery industry between Poland and Romania were completed. M. MARINESCU was a chief of a Romanian delegation of construction machinery industry. A protocol was signed.

    60). 11-20 V 1967
    On invitation of PRL Minister of Defence, a delegation of Socialist Republic of Romania, leaded by KC RPK member and the Minister of SRR Armed Forces, general Ion IONITA paid a visit to Poland.

    61). 8-9 VI 1967
    In Bucharest took place the VIth session of Polish-Romanian Commission of Economic Co-operation. Deputy Prime Minister Z. NOWAK was chief of Polish delegation, Romania was represented by Deputy Prime Minister G. RADULESCU.

    62). 29 IX 1967 
    A Plan of agreement implementation on cultural and scientific co-operation between Poland and Romania for years 1968-1969 was signed in Bucharest

    63). 21 XI 1967
    In Bucharest was signed a Polish-Romanian protocol on mutual trade supplies in 1968.

    64). 19 XII 1967
    In Bucharest was signed a joint Polish-Romanian protocol on co-operation in the field of chemical and oil industry, as well as a protocol on scientific and technical co-operation.

    65). 19-21 XII 1967
    In Warsaw takes place a council of the ministers of foreign affaires from European socialist countries, focused on Middle East issues. The deputy Minister of Foreign Affaires, M. MIHAI, represented Romanian side. A report was published. On 20th of December Prime-minister Józef CYRANKIEWICZ received councils' participants. In this meeting took part party members with I secretary of KC PZPR Władysław GOLMUŁKA, as a leader.

    66). 6 II 1968
    In the KC PZPR headquarters takes place the meeting between member of KC Presidium of Romanian Communist Party, P. MIZILA and member of KC PZPR Political Bureau, Zenon KLISZKA. During the meeting were discussed problems concerning international workers' movement and other issues at which both of the parts were interested in.

    67). 27-28 VI 1968
    In Warsaw took place a debate of VIIth Session of Polish-Romanian Governmental Commission of Economic Co-operation. Polish part was represented by Deputy Prime Minister Z. NOWAK. G. RADULESCU was a chief of SRR delegation.

    68). 11-16 XI 1968
    The Vth congress of PZPR debated in Warsaw, delegations of fraternal parties from 39 states took part in it. Chivu STOICA, member of an Executive Committee and a Permanent Presidium and KC RPK secretary was the chief of the Romanian Communist Party Delegation.

    69). 21 XI 1968
    The protocol on trade exchange between Poland and Romania for year 1969 was signed in Warsaw.

    70). 26-29 XI 1968
    In Bucharest take place council of armed forces representatives of the Warsaw Pact states-members; marshal Iwan JABUKOWSKI being a commander-in-chief of the Warsaw Pact United Armed Forces chaired the council.

    71). 11-14 II 1969
    Deputy minister of PRL Foreign Affaires Adam KRUCZKOWSKI paid a visit to Romania. He had meetings with the Romanian Minister of Foreign Affaires C. MANESCU. The talks focused on relationship between both countries.

    72). 24-26 II 1969
    Polish-Romanian talks on establishing the detailed plan of cultural and scientific co-operation for year 1969 take place in Warsaw. The additional protocol was signed.

    73). 17 III 1969
    In Budapest debated an Advisory Political Committee of states-members of the Warsaw Pact. Prominent leaders from Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, GDR, Poland, Romania, Hungary and Soviet Union took part in a session.

    74). 19 IV 1969
    In Bucharest was signed a plan on co-operation between Polish and Romanian ministries of health for year 1969. The plan was signed by: the PRL Minister of Health and social care, professor doctor J. KOSTRZEWSKI and the SRR Minister of Health, A. MOGA.

    75). 19-20 V 1969
    An official state and party's delegation of the Socialist Republic of Romania paid a visit to Poland. General secretary of Romanian Communist Party, president of National Council of SRR Nicolae CEAUSESCU acted as a chief of delegation. The delegation carried talks with a state and party delegation of PRL, led by I KC PZPR secretary, Władysław GOMUŁKA. Members of delegation: on Polish side - member of the Political Bureau of KC PZPR, the President of State Council Marian SPYCHALSKI, member of the Political Bureau of KC PZPR, Prime Minister Józef CYRANKIEWICZ, member of the Political Bureau and KC PZPR secretary Zenon KLISZKO, member of the Political Bureau and KC PZPR secretary Józef TEJCHMA, deputy member of the Political Bureau of KC PZPR, Deputy Prime Minister Piotr JAROSZEWICZ; on Romanian side - member of the Executive Committee and Permanent Presidium of KC RPK, Prime Minister Ion Gheorhge MAUER, KC RKP member Mihail DALEA, KC RPK member, Deputy Prime Minister Ion PATAN. A report regarding the visit was published.

    76). 25-30 V 1969
    On invitiation of the director of Press and Information Department of the PRL MFA, Romuald POLESZCZUK, a director of Romanian MFA Press Department, minister J. PETRE is paying a visit to Poland. He was received by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affaires Zygfryd WOLNIAK and Deputy Chief of Press Bureau of KC PZPR Wiesław BEK, he also carried talks with the President of ZG SDP (General Board of Polish Journalists' Association) Stanisław MOJKOWSKI and had a meeting with press, radio and TV representatives.

    77). 15 VI 1969
    On his way back from International Fair in Poznań the Vice President of Romanian National Commission for Planning, Dumitru USUROI lost his life in a car crash, near Kutno. In funeral ceremony in Bucharest took part Polish delegation of a Commission for Planning with a Vice President, professor Józef PAJESTKA.

    78). 6 VI 1969
    An agreement on co-operation in film industry between PRL and Romania for year 1969 was signed in Warsaw.

    79). 26 VI 1969
    An agreement on co-operation between Radio and TV Committee of PRL and its counterpart in SRR was signed in Warsaw.

    80). 24 VI - 1 VII 1969
    Deputy Minister of Foreign Affaires of SRR, Vasile SANDRU with other representatives paid a visit to Poland. V. SANDRU was received by the Minister of Foreign Affaires Stefan JĘDRYCHOWSKI and had talks with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affaires, Zygfryd WOLNIAK.

    81). 6 - 12 VIII 1969
    The Xth Congress of Romanian Communist Party debates in Bucharest. Members of PZPR delegation: member of Political Bureau and KC PZPR secretary Józef TEJCHMA as a head of a delegation and KC member, I secretary in Białystok, Arkadiusz ŁASZEWICZ.

    82). 30-31 X 1969  
    In Bucharest take place consultations of bank representatives from Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, GDR, Mongolia, Poland, Romania, Hungary and Soviet Union with representatives of the International Bank of Economic Co-operation and a secretariat of the Council for Mutual Economic Assistance.

    83). 7-10 XII 1969
    Deputy Minister of Foreign Affaires Zygfryd WOLNIAK and a director within the Ministry of Foreign Affaires W. NAPIERAJ paid a visit to Bucharest. The talks were carried in the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affaires. Z. WOLNIAK met with deputy Minister of SRR Foreign Affaires, George MACOVESCU.
